New Port Richey was a resort area where silent film stars built winter homes along the Cotee River in 1929 and visited the area through 1937.

New Port Richey is quaint and has a variety of indoor and outdoor activities including a floating casino, boating, fishing, dining, shopping and all the golf you desire within less than 10 miles.  Outdoor community events/festivals  in Sim's Park are in walking distance from the condo.  New Port Richey has some nice performances on Grand Blvd just off Main Street located in the theather.
